Microsoft puts its digital assistant front and a little left of center, embedding it into every Windows 10 based device, and anyone who feels like downloading the app. From now, Cortana will also help Windows 10 users keep your promises. The digital assistant is getting a new feature that makes you fulfill your commitments.With this new ‘Cortana’ feature, it scans your emails and to create a reminder for any promise mentioned in the mail. If you send an email to your friend promising that you will meet him at 5 PM, Cortana will make sure you do.
Microsoft has made Cortana "more proactive when it comes to reminders" as part of a series of updates now in beta testing.
Cortana also finds documents, videos and photographs from a specific month or date as she uses genuine language search. Simply type something such as “Photos from August” and she will immediately pull them out for you. There’s no need to open extra tabs and applications.
It's interesting to see the speed at which Microsoft is improving Cortana, it has gone from being a running joke to something that will summon me an Uber, all in the time it's taken Siri to understand my accent.
