DSK TNT 25 Launch in India on 18 DEC

DSK Benelli, the Italian motorcycle manufacturers Benelli's Indian arm is all set to introduce a sixth motorcycle on Friday, 18 December. The company with DSK TNT 25 launch in India will set its most affordable motorcycle, the TNT 25. DSK Benelli will be the  Benelli’s smallest and least expensive motorcycle. The Benelli TNT 25 is expected to be the sales driver for DSK Benelli, targeting entry-level performance bike enthusiasts.

This bike Benelli TNT 25   was unveiled at the EICMA 2015 motor show, and will be the most affordable product in company’s bike portfolio. We expect the company to put an aggressive price tag on the bike in order to survive in this cut-throat segment.

The motorcycle comes with exposed frame, minimal fairing and in an athletic looks that is spot on for naked motorcycle segment. The design of the bike DSK TNT 25 front-end is shared with the bigger sibling, the TNT 300, which is priced at Rs 2.83 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The decals over the tank scoops, exhaust muffler and the tail lamp are different from TNT 300. The motorcycle measures 2,080mm in length, 805mm in width and 1,090mm in height with a wheelbase of 1385mm.

The DSK TNT 25 will be the first single cylinder Benelli bike to be sold in India, and is powered by a four-stroke, liquid-cooled 249.2cc engine which makes over 24bhp power and 21Nm of torque. Once launched, the TNT 25 will fight for a slice of the entry-level performance bike segment with the likes of the Honda CBR 250R, KTM Duke 390 and even the Mahindra Mojo.

The DSK TNT 25 to be sold in India in completely knocked down (CKD) line and going to be assembled in Maharashtra Pune based DSK Motowheels, in collaboration with Benelli, brings in Benelli superbikes to India as CKD units, assembling them here at DSK Motowheels' plant in Maharashtra. It is safe to assume that the DSK Moto-wheels puts the price of  Benelli DSK TNT 25 below Rs 2 lac to make it attractive.Currently, DSK Benelli sells at least six superbikes in India, ranging from the TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600GT, TNT 899 and the TNT 1130R. DSK Benelli has been curious on providing world class service to its customers and in this fiscal, the company expects to sell over 4,000 units. If DSk Benelli puts the price of  Benelli DSK TNT 25 below Rs 2 lac, the competition of  bikes in that price range increases.

In the second phase of expansion, DSK Benelli is looking at establishing sales and service points at Tier I and Tier II cities like Raipur, Nashik, Nagpur, Mangalore and Mysore.DSK Benelli so far has 14 dealerships across India.
