For the first time the awaited Mahindra S101 new spy shots comprising the images of LED DRLs have been rounding on the web just after a few hours of its teaser.
The Auto enthusiasts have already got several hints about the new Mahindra S101 mini-SUV and the things that SUV lovers wish before the official announcement of the Mahindra on December 18.
The vehicle was being tested near Mahindra's Chakan facility. Rumours are that Mahindra called it as Mahindra KUV100. The enthusiasts have manged to snap the LED DRL’s of the Mahindra S101.
It is being thought that this model gives a good competition for Maruthi WagonR and Chevrolet Beat. And at affordable price. Mahindra S101 is expected to have its signature front grille, new head lamp cluster and body cladding.
S101 is expected to have 1.2-litre diesel and petrol mills under the hood. While the petrol mill is likely to be an all-new engine, the diesel mill could be the watered-down version of the 1.5-litre mHawk engine. All to be positioned below TUV300.
Both its diesel and petrol variants would be mated to 5-speed transmission and AMT is expected to be offered. The Mahindra official website placed coming soon beside the S101 aka Mahindra KUV100. Price tag is expected to be around 4lakhs.
