Yu Yutopia Smartphone with 21MP cam launched in NEWDELHI on 17Dec. Micromax's Cyanogen only brand YU has launched its latest flagship smartphone Yutopia. Called the most powerful phone ever by the company, Yutopia comes with a price tag of Rs 24,999.
The device will be available for open sale exclusively via e-commerce retailer Amazon India. Interested customers will be able to place pre-bookings for the device starting Thursday (Today). The handset will be available for sale from December 26 onwards.
YU has debuted a digital assistant called 'Around YU', which "provides a seamless experience that simplifies and saves a user time and effort to switch between plethora of apps" with Yutopia.
The new device Yu Yutopia smartphone which is aimed at the high-end smartphone market comes with top line specifications. Yu has earlier launched four smartphones starting with the Yu Yureka in December 2014, followed by Yu Yunique, Yureka Plus, and Yuphoria.
The all-new Yutopia sports a 5.2-inch 2K (1440x2560p) resolution IPS display and is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor. The smartphone comes with 4GB DDR4 RAM, 32GB internal storage and runs on Cyanogen OS 12.1.
On camera front, there's 21MP shooter at the back, the rear snapper comes with the ability to capture 4K videos. and an 8MP camera in front with a 5P lens, and DTS-powered speakers. For connectivity, Yutopia is supports 4G LTE. Yu Yutopia Price in India would be Rs 24,999/-
Yu Yutopia battery capacity is 3,000mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 2.0 standard for fast-charging. Yu Yutopia 3000mAh battery backup, with Quick Charge 2.0. It can charge from 0 percent charge to 60 percent in 30 minutes.
During the Yu Yutopia launch, Rahul Sharma, Founder, YU Televentures said, “We commenced our exciting journey at YU a year ago with a promise of making technology more simplistic and the smartphones an enabler of our daily tasks”.
