Microsoft Lumia 640, 535, 830, 930 scheduled for Windows 10

There were reports that Microsoft had started rolling out the Windows 10 Mobile OTA update to a couple of devices over the last few days, creating buzz if the software had been really released. It now appears Lumia devices may soon receive the software update but the actual rollout hasn't been initiated yet.

"The Windows 10 Mobile Upgrade Advisor app will tell you if your Windows 8.1 phone is eligible for upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile. App can also help free up space on your phone so you're ready for the upgrade. When the app is opened, it checks phone and lets know if it's eligible to upgrade, if an update is required before one can upgrade, or if your phone can't be upgraded.

Eligible phones for the upgrade, need some free space to get it. The app recommends files, such as videos or photos you can temporarily move to an SD card or OneDrive, if you have one installed. Accept the recommendations, or change which files you want to move. Files moved to OneDrive, need to use the app to restore files back to phone after Windows 10 Mobile is installed."

However, users of Windows phones can check if Windows 10 Mobile will come to their devices only when the Upgrade Advisor app is made public.
Microsoft may not have announced the Windows 10 Mobile update schedule for its Windows phones, but it might arrive soon. The software was supposed to be released by the end of 2015, but it was postponed. It is now expected to be rolled out this month.

The software giant Microsoft had earlier announced that it would initially release the software to its devices like Lumia 430, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 735, Lumia 830 and Lumia 930 before rolling it out to Windows 8.0-based phones.
